The Super Bowl[/def] is one of America’s most exciting sports events of the year. The two best football teams in the country play one final game of the season to decide who is the champion of the National Football League.
This year the New England Patriots beat the Carolina Panthers. It was a very exciting game because the teams were evenly matched and it came down to the last second.
It was also fun to watch because of the halftime show. Several of the biggest stars in music performed in front of 70,000 fans in the stadium and millions of TV viewers. Read on to learn more!

For many years, the halftime show has been an essential part of American football. The primary purpose of the halftime show is to keep fans entertained during the break between the two halfs of the game. During the break, the teams are in the locker room, rather than on the field, so the people in the stands need something to do.
The Super Bowl halftime show is usually the biggest and most elaborate show of the football season. This year was no exception. The show featured superstar performers Janet Jackson, P. Diddy, Nelly, Kid Rock and Justin Timberlake. Each performed for a few minutes, singing popular songs such as Nelly’s “Hot in Herre,” Kid Rock’s “Cowboy” and Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation.”
The most exciting part of the halftime show was during Timberlake’s performance of “Rock Your Body.” He sang and danced with Janet Jackson in a very sexy and provocative manner.

This year’s Super Bowl was the best one I’ve ever seen. Not only was the game amazing, but the halftime show was definitely super. I’m a big fan of all of the artists who performed, so seeing them all together was a real treat.
