John: Dude, I just picked up that new Moby CD.
Kyle: Yeah. I heard that just came out. How was it?
John: It’s actually pretty good. Have you heard any of it?
Kyle: No. I haven’t heard it but I saw that it was a two-disk set this time.
John: Yeah. So the first one is kind of his normal music and then the second one is more ambient, ya know without any lyrics.
Kyle: Maybe I can, uh, borrow that from you sometime and listen to it.
John: Yeah. Or you know, I could rip it for you.
Kyle: Yeah?
John: Yeah. I’ll rip it on my computer and then I’ll burn a copy of it onto a CD.
Kyle: Oh. That’d be great, man.
John: Yeah. I just got a new computer so I want to test that out anyway.
Kyle: All right. Thanks a lot.
John: No problem.

John offered to burn a copy of the CD for his buddy Kyle. Sharing music is a really big issue these days with P2P file sharing.
The music companies say that they are losing money from people sharing music files.
A lot of people say it’s just no big deal because at least the music is getting heard.
What do you think?
