I would like you to know that there are 12 patterns in the tenses that you have to master by hard.  This is the base of the English Language especially for foreigners learning English as a second or third language.

You must think of the structure in English and not compare it with your own mother tongue.

Have it in a table form :

Try putting in the verb in these sentences for easy practice.

 

  1. Jim___________to school.
  2. Jim and Mary … to school.
  3. The boy……….  to school.
  4. The boys…..,,,,,   to school.

 

Note:  You must also know your irregular verbs by hard and use the correct pronoun      in the tenses.
