Sometimes it takes a little while before you realize you’re angry about something. When Jason casually mentioned to Mason that he’s been hanging out with Mason’s girlfriend, Amanda, Mason seemed to think that was a little strange. But, according to Beren, he’s pretty hot under the collar about the whole thing. However, Jason, who is meditating after a day of Olympic training, seems to think it will be alright.

Beren

Jason

Beren: Oh. My. God. Jason, I have been looking everywhere for you. You will not believe, you will not believe what’s going on.

Jason: What’s going on?

Beren: Mason is super pissed. He’s gonna kill you.

Jason: No, he’s not.

Beren: Yes, yes he is. He’s gonna murder you.

Jason: Why would he do that?

Beren: Because of Amanda, maybe? Ring a bell?

Jason: What about her?

Beren: You’ve been hanging out with her, man.

Jason: Yeah, Mason knows.

Beren: Are you sure?

Jason: Yeah, I just talked to him about it.

Beren: When did you talk to him?

Jason: Earlier today.

Beren: What time?

Jason: Two or so, something like that.

Beren: Because I just ran into him. I don’t think he’s too happy. He was asking me all these questions, like dates, times, places and I just said I don’t know because I don’t know.

Jason: Well, he was probably just double checking because I talked to him and it’s totally platonic, the me and Amanda thing. I’m totally not interested anymore, you know.

Beren: Anymore?

Jason: Well, I was, obviously.

Beren: Yeah, yeah.

Jason: But even if they weren’t together I don’t think I’d be interested anymore, you know?

Beren: Really?

Jason: Yeah.

Beren: Alright, you definitely…cool. Maybe I misread him. Hard guy to read. Maybe I misread him. But he seemed kind of pissed and he did say he was going to kill you. Which led me to believe that he might be upset.

Jason: I don’t know, I talked to him and it seemed like it was cool. I mean, he might be a little jealous, I guess, but I don’t know. We’re just gonna be friends. It’s fine.

Beren: That’s cool. Good to know. I’ll leave you.

Beren has been looking for Jason to warn him that Mason is upset with him. She finds him meditating and he’s so sure that what Beren is saying isn’t true, he doesn’t open his eyes to talk to her at first.

Of course, she could be right. Jason did have a crush on Amanda, which he even admits to Beren. But he says he doesn’t want to be anything more than friends with her now. Of course, the same might not be true for Amanda, who has been flirting with Jason lately.

What do you think will happen when Mason sees Jason? Do you think it will turn out that Beren was right and Mason will be angry? Does he have a right to be angry with Jason?

I think Mason's has the right to get angry with Jason, but the two guys can have a men's talk. Jason can tell Mason that he is not interested in Amanda. (Even I don't think Mason will believe in Jason). But it's destructive that Mason is upset with Jason. The key persons are himself and Amanda.Their relationship has some problems and Mason need to work out.

Maybe Mason said this to Beren because he think Beren will telling this to Amanda. In my opinion Mason (or Beren) is using the word 'to kill' very easy. Thats rude and stupid. But Jason is looking cool at this situation.

Even if that, they will make up later and still be good friends. But i think Mason maybe break up with Amanda, the Amanda may go for Jason but Jason is so embaressed to accept her even though he still has feelings for her. Then they stay be friends. Jason, Mason and Amanda~~

I think Mason will be angry when he sees Jason. He has a right to be angry but it is all Amanda's fault. She flirted with Jason but Jason just regarded her as friend. Mason is obviously Jealous, it is understandable

oh ,if it were not the ending of this story ,i suppose ,mason would be furious about what beren agured ! then they end their friendship with a fighting ,in the end ,through amanda ,they realize the valued friendhip …

if mason suspect all of them ,why not they 3 guys hang out together and wait for what will happen …
