A lot of people have a crush on Brad Pitt, even though they’ve never met him. A crush is a romantic feeling or attraction to someone you may or may not know. You can have a crush on a guy you’ve never talked to but think is really cute, or you can have a crush on someone you’ve been friends with for years, but never dated.

Sometimes we have a crush on a person we find attractive, but once we get to know that person better, the crush goes away. The actress Jessica Chastain knows Brad Pitt better than most. She was his co-star in the recent film Tree of Life. She says he’s more than just a pretty face. He’s also funny and fun to be with. After getting to know him better, Jessica still has a crush on Brad.

The word crush can refer to the romantic feelings we have for someone, as in, “I have a crush on Mason.” But we can also use the word crush to talk about the person we feel attracted to, as in, “Mason is my crush.” Finally, you can also use crush like a verb, as in, “I’m really crushing on Mason right now!”

God created so many beautiful people to look at and appreciate. It’s just like walking through nature and appreciating the beauty of it. In that sense I have a lot of little crushes quite often. It’s not something I usually act on, just feel and observe. There is a part of me that feels “I would like to be with this one and this one this”. That’s not realistic of course.
