OK, so you’ve put on a little weight. A diet will fix that, right? But first you have to pick the right one.

There are so many different ways to diet. You can cut carbs, eat smaller portions, stay away from sweets, or try to eat more fruits and vegetables. No matter which diet you choose, though, you have to stick to it if you really want to slim down.

Dale recently lost some weight. Hear him share his dieting tips with Amy.

Amy:  So I remember you had a blog post a while ago about losing some weight, Dale. Is there like a particular diet that you find works well for you?

Dale:  Dieting is basically, in my mind, ways of eating. Maybe portion control or reduction of carbs or sugars. I don’t really have a specific diet, I just like to always make sure I’m paying attention to my diet.

Amy:  I think that’s true. I mean, in general, if you can just cut out a couple things or try not to overindulge, usually that can help you slim down.

Dale:  They say portion control is the number one that will help you to slim down. And one of the things they always say is too much of a good thing is always a bad thing. So too much chocolate cake will turn into something.

Amy:  Do you have a particular weakness that’s hard for you to cut out of your diet?

Dale:  Ice cream.

Amy:  Oh, I know.

Dale:  I love ice cream.

Amy:  But really, what’s the point of living without ice cream?

Dale:  Especially when you put a chocolate sauce on top of it.

Dale recently lost weight. Amy asks him what diet he used. He says that he just tries to pay attention to what he eats.

Amy thinks that if you cut out a couple of unhealthy foods from your diet and eat smaller portions, you can lose weight. Dale agrees that eating smaller portions is the best way to slim down.

Even when Dale is trying to lose weight, he finds it hard to live without ice cream. Amy loves eating ice cream, too.

for me, I don’t wanna lose weight but already I reduce fats and carbs at my food , in addition , I don’t like too much sugars and sweets also

but if you really wanna lose weight , go on a diet but not hard one  , and another effective advice is to do sports continually , it’s really helps you to keep fit and even if you don’t wanna lose weight , you can do sports 

doing sport for me is a daily routine like brushing my teeth and I think all of us have to regard it as the same for me .

That ’s definitely true nowdays more and more people becoming fat,all because of the junk foods and less excercise and unregular diet time,as we all know,fat is not health and have many sickness if you become fatter and fatter,so many people are joining the diet team,even someone via drug to get the weight down,it;s really unheathly methods for lose weight,actuall,you just need to insist excercise and eat much more vegatable and eat little meat and junk foods,like fry of KFC and so on ,maybe it’s really tough to diet sometime,just can not insist,we can not control our mouth,and always the food control us,so that ’s why we always failed to diet.

as for me ,i m really not fat ,so i have not need to diet at moment.

yes i try go to diet than more time . the best diet and slim down to save skinny body for me is than eat evry thing free fat or low fat and keep yourself than sweet and high calories . if you want take portion sweet take it in morning because you have many time for burn. and i’m drinking everything without sugar like coffe , tea . hot chocolate ….. etc . and every time when i went to my work or to any where i dont stopped my car near from the place i want until i can walk the biggest time in day. in the end i’m eating more vegetables and fruits and i dedicate one day in the week and ofen to be in the week end i eat every thing in any time . this day named ( open day )
