My friend Greg got our tickets for the game. His company often gives them away to employees. Lucky for us, they were reserved seats. I usually sit in general admission.
The seats were very nice. They were right behind home plate. We were really close to the action. We got there before the game so we watched all the players warm-up. Next came the national anthem, and then finally, the first pitch.
The other team started hitting really well. Our pitcher wasn’t that strong. In the first inning, there was a home-run and a triple. They scored 6 runs in that inning.
We started getting hungry so we went to the concession area. They had hotdogs and hamburgers, but they were very expensive. We chose to drink beer instead.
Our team stayed behind, and soon it was the 7th inning stretch. We stood up and stretched our legs, and then watched the rest of the game.
We ended up losing the game, but it was a lot of fun to hang out with my friends and the weather was great. I can’t wait until the next game!

Do you ever go to baseball games? When I lived in Japan, they were very popular. What kind of games do you like to go to with friends?
Summer is here, so let’s take advantage of it! Get outside and enjoy the great weather!
