One of the great things about being in the U.S. is the diversity of foods. Because the country is a melting pot of people and cultures, just about every kind of food is available here. In addition to all of the different ethnic foods, you can find a wide variety of health foods in stores and restaurants.
Health food is becoming more and more popular because people are concerned about the way food makes them feel. People are learning more about food and they realize that eating well can make a person feel happier, healthier and more full of energy.
Read on to learn more about the health food options in the U.S.


1. Study - Read the dialog again to see how the vocab words are used.

Luckily, there are many different stores and restaurants that feature healthy foods. Many restaurants serve vegetarian and/or vegan dishes. You can ask your waiter which things on the menu are the healthiest. There are some restaurant chains that serve only vegetarian foods, such as Govinda’s, and you can always get healthy food at juice bars.
If you’re interested in eating organic foods, your best bet is to shop at a health food store. Some of the big health food chains are Wild Oats, Alfalfa’s, and Whole Foods. You can also find some natural foods at Trader Joe’s.

Eating well is very important if you want to live well. I’ve been trying to eat more healthily lately and I can tell that it’s making a difference in my life. I’m avoiding fast food and sweets and I feel much better!
Hopefully you can find healthy foods in your part of the world!

I agree that people are becoming more and more aware of the benefits of eating healthly. I have tried to do so and it´s improved my quality of life. I steer clear of sweets and oily food as much as possible but once a week, usually on the week end, I allow myself to eat those types of food. I try to strike a balance and not to take it to the extreme.

And yes we have always to eat healthy food to be in a good health and to have a good life.


And about sweets ! it is good to eat sweets but between time to time. Coz sweets have a good benefits for the body. However, we should never cross the line and eat too much ! coz that will be a big problem. So, we should keep everything balanced.


And good 4 u, I hope u keep ur food habits always healthy.
