What better way to end green week than to talk about everyone’s favorite green stuff, money! That’s right, getting ready for the weekend, you really need this stuff to have a fun time. But, where do you go to get it? In America, we usually get money from an ATM. Listen to the following dialog and find out what makes this process a little bit complicated for Steph and Jen.

Steph: I’m totally broke.
Jen: Oh, I wish I had some cash to give ya. Maybe we could find an ATM somewhere around here.
Steph: Maybe. Yeah. Oh look! There’s one right there.
Jen: Oh, we can’t stop there. It’s a two-dollar charge for fees.
Steph: No way!
Jen: Hey. I know. A couple more blocks up, it’s free.
Steph: Really? What kind of bank is it?
Jen: It’s a Wells Fargo_.
Steph: Oh yeah? OK. Well, cool. I think. But that’s not my bank. You think they’ll charge me a fee?
Jen: Well, your bank might. But, *_Wells Fargo won’t. It’s the best way I know to get some fast cash.
Steph: Oh really. Well, yeah. I need some money right now. So, all right. Let’s go.
Jen: Let’s go there.

You really have to be careful when you are getting money from an ATM because they all charge different fees. I have seen fees from one to four dollars, depending on the owner of the machine. I hate bank fees! I avoid them like the plague. If you need money and you’re in America, check the fees first. Have a great weekend!
