Steph: Have you ever grown a garden?
Kyle: No. I think my mom had a garden, though, when I was a kid.
Steph: Ya know, it’s getting really popular again to, uh, have herb gardens and things like that in your apartment.
Kyle: Yeah, I don’t think I’d do much gardening myself, unless maybe I’d plant strawberries. I like strawberries.
Steph: Gosh. That would be good, just to be able to go pick strawberries right out of your little strawberry patch.
Kyle: Yeah. But you’d probably need those in your backyard, huh?
Steph: I guess so. I mean you could probably hang some out of like a garden box or something in your kitchen.
Kyle: Yeah. Then you could just pick and eat.
Steph: That would be awesome. You could invite friends over and have a strawberry party.
Kyle: Maybe I’ll plant some strawberries tomorrow.
Steph: Totally. Just in time for summer, you can make strawberry daiquiris.
Kyle: All right.
Steph: Sweet.

One of the greatest things about planting your own garden is that you can share with your friends and family when everything has been grown.
It’s so much fun to bust out the tomatoes and peppers that you grew yourself and whip up some salsa or some kind of salad.
I liked Kyle’s idea of growing strawberries. That’s a way to get in good with the girls. Give them fresh strawberries from your garden!
