John: Anna, didn’t you say that you saw Greek Wedding?
Anna: You mean My Big Fat Greek Wedding?
John: Yeah, that. How’d you like it?
Anna: I thought it was really good. For a, a girl whose think, well thinking about – I am getting married. Um, I was interested to watch how the two families reacted.
John: Yeah, I just saw it this weekend and I really enjoyed it. I know it’s been out, for what, like six months now?
Anna: Something like that. What did you like best about it?
John: I could really relate to the Greek dad. I think he’s a lot like my dad, and uh, I hope I don’t turn out like that someday.
Anna: I think in the end they’ll just be happy that you do get married.
John: The best thing about it was how real the characters seemed. You know, it wasn’t the big Hollywood star lineup, but, you know, you really got to know each character and, and really started feeling for them.
Anna: I agree. I think it made it far more believable.

Discussion
I really loved watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I think one of my favorite parts is watching the main character, Toula, change and become a stronger woman. I liked how she stood up to her parents, pursued her dreams, and her relationship with a non-Greek man.
