Tommorrow is Halloween! Some people like to watch scary movies and dress up in costumes. Find out what Anna thinks about scary movies!

Miguel

Anna

Miguel: Halloween’s coming up Anna, are you gonna watch any scary movies to freak yourself out?

Anna: No way! Scary movies give me nightmares.

Miguel: You’re not a scary movie fan?

Anna: I have a morbid fascination with scary movies. Like, I’ll see them a year after their release, but I’ve got to hear all about them first. But no way will I see one over Halloween.

Miguel: Whoa, that’s good to know, so what’s a movie that’s really scared you? Silence of the Lambs, but a friend told me the entire plot before I saw it, so I wouldn’t be freaked out about it in the theater.

Miguel: So, did you like it or is it like a thing where you just like to see it cause you know it’s scary?

Anna: I think as much as I say I hate to be scared, I just like to see it for the scary factor so I’ll be frightened. But I hate to be frightened so I don’t understand myself.

Discussion

When it comes to scary movies, I feel the same as Anna. I really don’t like to watch them. Sometimes I will work up the nerve and watch a horror movie, but I always get so jumpy that I can’t fall asleep. With the special effects used in the movies, they can make anything look real. It’s pretty creepy sometimes!

It's quite a hard situation for me, i like watching horror movies, but they really freak me out and give me nightmares. And during which, my heart beat so fast that i can't help screaming out that is embarrassing.

Me too! I love watching horror movies, it's my way of coping stress and it helps me a lot. If I have a problem I just watch movies and that's it I temporarily forget my worries!!!! I really do love Chinese, Korean and Japanese movies because there is always a puzzle I like their way of creating horror movies.

Yeah me too feels like anna, i love horror movies but i can't sleep after them.. in past i watched horror movies and it wan fun but after i saw a movie called the ring i didn't watch any horror movie..
