John

Steph:  God. It was so sunny out. I can’t believe it. It made me realize how dirty my house was.

John:  I totally went through my closet on Sunday. It must’ve been spring cleaning feeling in the air.

Steph:  Seriously. Oh my gosh. I saw all this dust on the window sills. And I was like, oh I gotta do some spring cleaning around here.

John:  And so did you do some?

Steph:  Oh, yeah. Definitely. I swept, I mopped, I got all the dirt and grime off the windows. I think I did a pretty good job.

John:  It feels good to do that. Ya know, I just invested in a Swiffer. Have you ever used one of those?

Steph:  No. Well, I mean, I’ve seen ‘em but I’ve never really bought one though.

John:  I have hardwood floors and so, uh, the Swiffer’s nice. You put this little piece of cloth on the bottom of it and the static energy makes all the dust stick to it.

Steph:  That’s really cool. Did you get a wet one or a dry one?

John:  I got both. You can get a wet and dry attachment.

Steph:  Whoa, that’s cool. I should get one ‘cause I have wood floors too.

John:  It’s fun. You can slide it underneath your couch and all that stuff. It’s nice.

Steph:  Sweet. Spring cleaning, here I come.

Discussion

There is just so much to do and so little time to do it. Between working on the weekdays and going out on the weekend, it’s kind of hard to get motivated for spring cleaning.
For me, it helps to have a reason to clean my house, like throwing a party.
You don’t have to tell your guests that you invited them over just so you would have to clean your place. They’ll never know.
Plan a party and do some spring cleaning now!
