Please God

A pebble in a pond you may drop,

Creating ripples that may never stop,

Running timeless in endless thought,

Unseen to the mortal eye.

Please wont you save us god,

Stop the tears before I cry.

For if another tear should fall,

May be the end of earth and all,

From my heart please hear my call,

Blood runs thicker.

For if my heart breaks loves inner wall,

Death comes quicker.

A blade of grass a grain of sand,

As I made a glance across the land,

I felt the pain run through my hand,

In a wave of ink.

As black as the graves of the damned,

My heart does sink.

How many times can one heart ache,

Pushing the mind into a tortured state,

How much more can the people take?

Of a raging ocean.

Its peace snapped by earths burning hate,

Churning mortal emotion.

What dreadful awful shocking news,

Then to hear people talking of what they’ll lose,

Does only but ignite the fuse,

In my soul.

Witnessing those stock traders pick and choose,

May I keep control.

I’ll soon find my peace for it be wise,

Though it wont ease the pain filled cries,

Or the grief when family dies,

I’m human too.

I hope god helps to rebuild the lives,

And see them through.
