hello

February 8, 2009

Omid (meaning: "Hope") is Iran's first domestically made satellite. Described as a data-processing satellite for research and telecommunications, Iran's state television reported that it was successfully launched on February 2, 2009. Laughing
After being launched by an Iranian-made carrier rocket, Safir 2, the satellite was placed into a low Earth orbit. The launch, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution and was supervised by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was also verified by NASA the following day as a success. He said the satellite was launched to spread "monotheism, peace and justice" in the world.
US military sources noted that the launch was a cause for concern, but said that it did not threaten the balance of power in the region.  (haha Cool)
The satellite was confirmed by NASA as a success.Smile
Omid is Iran's second satellite in orbit. A previous Iranian satellite, Sina-1, was built and launched for Iran by Russia in 2005.

I congratulate all Iranians and the Muslims in the world up on
this great achievement. Smile

I welcome such achievements, it is right that countries like the Islamic Republic of Iran have their own satellite technology. Of course it is good for Iranians to control their own communications, and use it for the benefit of all people inside and outside of Iran, who want to break the monopoly on technology that some (I won't name them) countries have. It is good for the Iranian economy and education too I think.

You are right to say

"Congratulation to the Iranian People" You can be proud about that.

But why you congratulate  to all Muslims

in the world.?????

We should make differences to technical progress

doing by human (okay I acccept when you say they  have gotten inspiration from Allah)  and the Islam.

When you combine both, it s a "affront" to all other religions."

I accept all religion, have friends from all religons and don t say, "Just Christian, Jewish or Muslim have the real religion. "

Every human should decide by their own, what he/she likes to believe.

That s the independence all human need.

N O B O D Y   should force other human to believe to a religion.

We had so many wars during the past on behalf of Religion. It makes me sad, when we don t like to learn from this sad things in the past and some human want to transfer this mistakes to our time now.

thank you
