With the increasing rate of divorce, there is an increasing fear of marriage among people, especially among the young adults who hold the belief that marriage is the tomb of love.
It is rather unfair to make such a conclusion simply according to some failed marriages. For in most of the failed marriages, people usually hastily make the decision to marry when they still cannot ensure whether their love allows each other to be part of the other’s life. Maybe even there is no love in some failed marriages since they may just marry for money, power, and so on.
Marriage without love is a tomb, however, marriage is not the tomb of love. On the contrary, I think marriage is the best gift that lovers can give each other. What people have to do is to be careful to choose the other half, and before making the decision to marry, to make sure the love is tough enough to bear the possible difficulties, sufferings, and hardness in the future lives. Then, I believe all of us will achieve a deep, tender and lasting love in the marriage.
