Barack Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize!

Mapleleaf Man

Canada

This morning I read that President Barack Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize. Any thoughts on this? I know that some people may not know what the Nobel Prizes are all about. Nobel was quite an interesting man. His invention changed the world. What did he invent? Do you think it was too early for Obama to win? Or do you think he was a good choice?

Me 2 agree with what all have suggested…..It is early days for him to get Noble Prize….There are few other winners who have done years of services in their own field and got Noble Prize at the fag end of their lives…..But this is too early for Mr.Obamam…....

If you don't think that he was the right choice, who do you think would be a better choice?

But you can still answer here, no reason why not. Sometimes it's ok to have different thoughts on the same thread, right? If he didn't deserve this 'prize' then suggest someone who is better.

It would be hard to think of a more electrifying and deserved recipient of this year's Nobel Peace prize than President Obama. Obama is the fourth American president to win the Nobel prize. His predecessors are Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and Jimmy Carter.

Obviously, the award is based on the hope that Obama will achieve real progress in advancing diplomacy rather than confrontation around the globe. He is a black peson. IN American, it is not easy to come to the white house. He is proved it is enough to energy to do so despite racism. Nơadays he already has. American relations with Europe are vastly improved. He is focusing on global warming.
