This is an outright lie, and you should be ashamed of yourself for spreading it.

I lived in the US during the past three months and continue to read the American news media online, and there was no talk of the Beijing Olympics being a failure. There were concerns about pollution and concerns about terrorism, and that is expected. These days terrorist attacks are common and the Olympics are a likely target, that has nothing to do with China. As far as pollution, I do have to say that the pollution in China is very bad, much worse than in North America, Europe or Japan. Everyone knows this, so of course that is a concern too. But there was no talk that the Chinese would fail.
