I’m from Russia.
I think that Russian culture don’t differ much from other.
First, There a lot of nations and ethnic groups in Russia. It’s result of difficult historical proccess. Some ethnic groups keep their traditions. I am going to write only commot traditions for the most part of people who live here.
*Greetings
We say Hi to friends or more official greetings for elder “Hello”. Good friends often embrace each other. Female and female or male and female can exchange 2 or 3 kisses in the cheeks.
*Birhday
Well, there is no something special. Congratulation depend only on imagination. But there is some common phrases we use to congratulate: “I wish you happiness, long and happy live and constant friends”
*Leisure
Walking, soccer, dancing, sporting, going to Cinema, reading books.
*Food
Well, most of people don’t use fast-food and prepared food. We make food at home. But it depend of life style.
Food:
macaroni with meat, rice with meat. I like eat macaroni with cheese =) Also there a lot of soups.

Greetings
When we meet a friend we usually say "Hi" or "Hello". A more formal greeting is "Good morning" or "Good day" or "Good evening". However, if you say "Good day" when you meet a friend or "Hello" when you meet somebody you don't know it won't make a big difference.
Birthday
We usually oragnize a party where friends and relatives celebrate. We give presents to the one who has a birthday. Sometimes we celebrate our birthdays at home, but going into a reataurant, disco or something like that is also very popular.
Leisure
It really depends on the people. Some go out with friends to relax, others prefer watching or playing sports. Often you can see someone going out for a walk. In one word the usual things.
Food
Bulgaria has a special cuisine, which is different depending on the part of the country. Bulgaria is a small country, but if you go to the southern towns and then to the northern you can see the differnece in the same meal. They use different spices, which makes the taste different.
