Friends,Do we live our life according to our religions….?

It is said that there is no religion in China, while the Chinese still lived happy lives. For they live for their deep heart, and their mind is with their heart.

That is relative to what your religion considers being religious. You can't compare religions' definition of being religious.

science is not the world. it's a mean that helps us to understand a face of it.humans spirituality really exists and we can't feel and be certain of god's presence unless we live and experience it.there are theories which talk about the only force which created the universe and maintain it.this force people call it as they like. we call it god. love is something essencial for life. god's love is the best. that what i have learned from my personal experience.may be you are not sure but there are people  and scientists who are certain of his existance.they use mind and heart to know him. human beings are body and soul.

In a sense, science IS the world. It is the way we use to understand how it works. 

I don't dispute that human spirituality exists. People feel the need for explanations. Some find that explanation in something they call God. Others find it in some other equally supernatural force. When scientific knowledge was scarce, men invented myths, stories, legends, and religions to shine a light on the darkness or deal with fear of the unknown or fear of death. 

I do know that scientists can also be religious. Science and religion are really incompatible, though. Once you start dealing with supernatural causes, it's no longer science. 

Human beings are body and MIND. I still don't agree that there is a soul. What's YOUR definition of it?

we don't ask about the supernatural because it's beyond our reach. only rligions explained it. some of them are revealed by god and mustn't be incompatible with science. i'm a muslim because there is this compatibility.idoubted it when i was young but i did my own researches. you are free to believe or not. there are verses in the koran describing the universe in a precise way.most scientists believe in god they are theists.it's a fact.

the soul is what keeps us alive.it's not the material part of the body. we are full of feelings, dreams… we need to live in peace with ourselves, to go higher and to be in harmony with the world. i repeat the world has not only one face. spirituality helps us to enjoy the other face of it.

Sorry for disturbing you.

What is science..? It is just explanation of some natural processes which are happening all around of us.for example we can know the princiles of gravity & know how it works but we can not create gravity in earth or destroy it.explainations canot substitute of existence.

Science is simply the effort to understand the processes of the natural world around us and how it works.

Yes, we can know how gravity works but we can't "make" gravity inasmuch as it is one of the fundamental forces of the universe.

Elaine Ecklund, a sociology professor at the University of Buffalo published a study last year where she surveyed professors of natural and social sciences at a sample of 21 major US Universities.

More than 60% described themselves as atheists or agnostic, while only about 8% of the general public in the US identifies themselves as such.

Of course this is only the US, but I would suspect results might be similar in many other parts of the world. If you have information that says MOST believe in God, I would love to see it. 

As far as the soul goes, it's not what keeps us alive. It's our physical body that does that. Dreams and feeling have physical and natural explanations. The brain is very complicated but we know a lot about it nonetheless. You can certainly believe in something ephemeral and mystical like the soul if you want, but I will wait for some evidence.

A positive & open view is required to understand 'soul',it is impossible to understand if you do not want,I can try if you like so .

I have a positive and open view if you have some evidence that the "soul" exists.  Otherwise, I am happy to admit I don't understand and have no need to. 

Any who want to pray for my soul, however,  are always welcome. I figure it can't hurt.
