What is the difference between 'watch' and 'see'? I'm not sure how to use it… Please help me.

See: perceive something with our eyes. Any time our eyes are open, we see things. "When I entered the kitchen, I saw a pile of dirty dishes in the sink."

 Watch: look at something carefully and with attention, usually over a longer period of time. "I watched a funny movie last night."
