How is life treating?

np36Super Member!

Hello,

     How are you?

One of my friend greet me like this " How is life treating?" What am I supposed to answer?

What is the meaning of "I'm caved." and what is the meaning of "a wet fish in a dry land."

Thank you very much and please have a nice day.

Hi! I’m great. Thanks for your questions.
When someone says “How is life treating you?” they’re just asking how you’re doing. A proper response would be something like “Good,” “Not bad,” “Great,” etc.
I’ve never heard “I’m caved” before, but when someone “caves in” it means they give up.
I also haven’t heard “a wet fish on dry land” but it sounds similar to the expression “a fish out of water” which means you are in an uncomfortable or unfamiliar situation.
Have a great day!
Amy
