     May I ask about the dialogue in the lesson "traffic ticket"? Mason said that he had to drive 2 hours to a remote circuit court sort of place. What does this sentence mean? Thank you very much.

Hi! That's a great question. A circuit court is a local court. Mason had to go to the local court of the area where he got the ticket. The courthouse where he had to go to deal with his ticket was very remote, or far away and not near anything else.
