Hi, Amy. I would appreciate if you could clarify some things for me:


1- can we use “in” after “resurgence” instead of “of”: resurgence in the old movies. Or is it a must to use only “of” after resurgence?


2- what is “blue grass music”?


3- Mason says: “did you get around to seeing any of the blockbusters?”. It is an interesting expression “did you get around to doing smth”. Could you please shed light on its meaning, and how and when to use it?

1-We do sometimes use “in” with resurgence, but “of” is more commonly heard.


2-Blue grass music is a type of folk music. It’s very cheerful and “twangy,” often played with banjos. 


3-”Get around to doing something” means “find the time to do something.”  For instance, “Did you ever get around to taking the trash out? Tomorrow is collection day.” Or “I didn’t get around to doing the reading for History this weekend. I hope there’s not a quiz.”
