What does success mean to you? I think in China it means money and a good family. Is that same to American?


I ask this question because my teacher asks me to write an essay and I don’t know how to write it can you give me some advice?

Well, if your teacher is asking you to write about what success means to you, I think it is all about your personal opinion. Success means something different to every individual. For example, to me, being successful is not necessarily about making money. It’s about making work that I’m proud of, and having my peers and community acknowledge it-and maybe making a difference in the world. But ask another American, and you’d probably get a different answer!


I think you should just express your own opinion about it!
