The contraction of he+will=he”ll, similarly the contractions for she+will=she’ll and they+will=they’ll and so on. Now I would like to know the pronunciation for the each of the above mentioed contractions. Like for he+ will the pronunciation will be heel or hill? For she+will the pronunciation is sheel or shill? Please advise?

Best regards,

Abhishek

He’ll is pronounced heel and she’ll is pronounced sheel. They’ll is pronounced just like they+ll. When Americans speak quickly, the first two contractions can sound closer to hill and shill (or somewhere in the middle), but the correct pronunciation is using a long e sound.

I’m sorry if my response was confusing. I meant that we’ll is pronounced like weel, just as he’ll is pronounced heel and she’ll is pronounced sheel.
