I would like to ask you on the usage of need in interrogative sentences. Which one of the following is correct?


1) Need we work hard? OR Do we need to work hard?


2) Need you any help? OR  Do you need any help?

To form a yes or no question, we add “do” to the beginning of the sentence, then flip the subject and verb construction we normally use for questions (Do + verb + subject). Therefore, the second sentence is correct in both examples.
