How many of you surf the Internet with a dictionary beside you? Well, I have just discovered an easy way to look up words right in your browser.

1. You need to be using Firefox. You should be using Firefox anyway because it is much safer to use than Internet Explorer. Download it from here: 

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/

2. Once you have it installed and working, go here: 

 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4175

and install the plug-in or add-on for the dictionary, it's named : MSTS dictionary.

3. Once it is installed, it will ask you to restart Firefox which is normal. 

4. Your browser will open again and you will have a dictionary right there at the tip of your mouse cursor! When you see an unknown word, highlight it, right click it and choose LOOK UP. The meaning of the word is right there on your screen! How cool is that?

 hey.. mapleleaf man your absolutely right! Mozilla Firefox is much safer than internet explorer. the latter is corrupted withe many viruses. When I'm using that before I've encountered many problems! give me headache! then I consulted it in a computer technician and installed the Firefox. Now I don't have to worry again and again. Well hope you can add me up to your friends list. Anyway my elder sister work their in Toronto..

actually, if you successfully install the dictionary, there is a green symbol (small picture) like a book (dictionary)located at the right lower angle on your browser....

drag your mouse to the green book and click your mouse on the left button, then drag to the "Help".....

it'll show how to use the dictionary

That's a great thing... thanks for the tip. I directly installed it and it is great, because the explenation is also in english and so you learn other denotations for the word.

I really like your tips you publish here.
