At first a notice for you: This is just my first voluntary blog, tried in English:
I have bought two new big books. Very interessting, isn't it? That are books they have to do with the language English and were not the cheapest towards other books in that category. Very exciting, I know, but why not? Both books have the name from a big city in in South East England. There is a prominent organisation that knows many young people in the world. The rivers Cherwell and Thames run through that city and meet south of the city centre. The coordinates of this city are 51°45'7 N and 1°15'28 W. Just have a look in Google Earth! Sorry for the little surreptitious advertising, but this is a good visual map. Did you found this city? Yes - these are two big books with that famous city name.
One book is a dicitonary (German - English and the opposite) and the other book is a advanced learner's dictionary. Both from the publisher for Europe: Cornelsen. The remarkable of the second book above is, the words are explained only in English! So I can also learn to explain some words in English. I think that is an important method for a German citizen. In every case the vocal English should not be missing. At the beginning I have to learn many English words, If I want to talk mainly successful. Nevertheless I think (even that this blog isn't perfect) my writing is a bit better, isn't it? Okay, I have still a little software to find quickly unknown English words. But also in that case I learn new English words and I don't need always look the words repeatedly. My German accent will be recognize quite a while, but it doesn't matter. What do you think about my mind? How do you think of my first blog? Let's talk together!
