Dealing with any language is dealing with art.English is not an exception especially when it's not your native tongue. Imagine what it would be like when you need to use the skills you've learnt in your branch of arts but you can't due to not having mastered those skills. I believe the best way to master English is to use it: a. Communicate with it. b. Listen and enjoy in it. c. Watch and have joy with it. d. Read and have fun with it. Never try to look at it as a school material rather as a fun learning material like learning how to salsa! Your friend, Arian

Hi all!

What do you think? My girlfriend siad ,"Are you gonna hurt me?" when I asked her if I could call an old female friend of mine with whom she has a lot of bad history.

" Hurting you would be the last thing on my mind and how can I reach for the last when the first thing on my mind is to cherish and love you"

LaughingHi All,

The best way I can suggest is to Listen to plenty of English regardless of whatever level of English you are.

But you can also make it systematic by learning the pronunciation rules such as blending and reduction and how to use them in speaking and in recognising spoken stuff in the way you should.

You can also watch a lot of TV and movie stuff and write down the sentences or words or phrases which sound nice to you. Trust me this way after a few months you can have a neat collection of nice sentences!

I'll later on  share with you my ways of working on other 3 skills of English.
