Al-Aqsa Mosque, “the Farthest Mosque", also known as Al-Aqsa and Bayt al-Muqaddas, is the third holiest site in Islam. Whilst the entire site on which the silver-domed mosque sits, along with the Dome of the Rock, seventeen gates, and four minarets, was itself historically known as the Al-Aqsa Mosque, today a narrower definition prevails, and the wider compound is usually referred to asal-Haram ash-Sharif ("the Noble Sanctuary").

Muslims believe that Muhammad was transported from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to al-Aqsa during the Night Journey. Islamic tradition holds that Muhammad led prayers towards this site until the seventeenth month after the emigration, when God directed him to turn towards the Kaaba.

In the last weakend of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world celebrate the Quds day. This celebration is to remember that beside the riots an unrests in the world and specially in the middle east, there is a holly land for muslims that remained in occupation yet. This is to remember that there are brothers and sisters that tolerate the oppression every day and every night. They are loosing their homes.

There are mothers who see their innocent children are beeing kiled every day.

...

This is to remember us that one day the occupires must be kicked out of the palestine.
