Euthanasia is sometimes the only acceptable solution for someone who is

suffering terribly and has no hope of an end to their suffering. Why should a

human being be kept alive against their own will when the meaning of life for

him/her has vanished? The so-called ''pro-life'' campaigners try to drum up

support for their cause by insisting that euthanasia is little better than murder,

but they coose to ignore the fact that where euthanasia is practised, it is done so

only within very strict guidelines. Surely, in an enlightened society, a person's

right to choose  should be respected in all matters, included death?
