what characteristics make a good student?

i think that higher education means self-education, that's why students should be inquisitive, erudated, clever and witty. They should always be hard-working and energetic enough to manage with lots of work. They should be talented to develop their creative skills at universities. They should be persistent and always prove their point of view. They should be persuasive to persuade other people. They should be helpful to be ready to to help other students. They should be ambitious to achieve their goals every timethey should also be confident about their nearest future so as they know what they want and try to do their best to make their future even better.
