A Visit To ...

Some days ago I paid a visit to my best friend, a middle school classmate whom I hadn't seen for a long time.Since thisget-together did not happen every day, we had a long and hearty chat about everything; not only things in our daily life, but also what had happened in the world. My friend's mother died when she was fourteen. As she was the oldest child in the family, she had to take up the responsibilities her mother left behind. This cost her the opportunity for further education. In comparison with her, I am lucky and fortunate. I certainly must work hard so as not to despoil my good fortune.
