Today is Maundy Thursday, the day before Jesus Christ was crucified in the belief of the Christians. With my country being predominantly Catholic, today is a non-working holiday. I, however, am employed by Koreans and therefore I get days off on Korean holidays, not Phiippine holidays. Yes, I am at work today and it's interesting how the usually busy business district is deserted. Peace and quiet in the big city--it's a lovely sight.
