In essence, life is simple. A man should live simply whether in living or in work. Because our society is becoming more and more complicated, many people get into more and more troubles. Is it the fault of the society? Obviously, it’s the fact, but I think the key reason is due to people’s thought. There is a famous Buddhism story about a flag’s waft. When two little monks saw a flag was waving in the wind, one little monk said, ‘The flag is moving.’ But the other little monk said, ‘You are wrong. The wind is moving.’ At this time, their master said, ‘You all are wrong. Your hearts are beating.’ So, I think if a man regards everything as a simple thing, then his life will become happier and better. On the other hand, if a man always wants to find a short cut in his work, then he will do many things for apple-polishing his boss, even if he dislikes doing something or must betray his soul. And in commonly, the more he did, the more tired he would feel, and the more failure he would get. So, giving up greed, living simply will make a man happy forever.
