Do you know Barefoot Gen?

"Barefoot Gen"(in japanese"Hadashi no Gen") is Japanese manga, and the main theme is how Gen and his family fight against difficulties of war.

In Japan, may be in other some countries, this manga is well known as conveying the devastation of Hiroshima atmic bomb.

When I was 7, I read this manga first. I was shocked by the import of story. I hadn't known what Hiroshima and Nagasaki's atomic bomb was and how many folks were suffered by war.

My mother and father haven't experience the war, of course, me, either. If grandparents' generations die, in the future, Japanese will forget war.

I want to study more about war and convey them to next generations.
