China

You can call them good wishes hanging oranment. In Chinese named 许愿符. They’re a kind of some little beauiful things people use them to make their good wishes about such as career, fortune, family, love, etc. and then hang them in the trees which are magical in Chinese traditional custom to help them make their wishes or dreams come ture as long as you are very pious. You can always see them in Chinese temples. I was in a temple then during one of my tour in Macao, China, and the tree is a “couple tree”. That means if you hang the ornament up in it, you can be with your true love forever!
