What are diffirences between "OTHER","ANOTHER" & "THE OTHER"

i think you should look them up in the dictionary that will help u  a lot really , trust me ..

“The other” is used between two things or two people,
for example,there are two boys, one is singing, the other one is playing the piano.
“Another” means “as well as”, in addition;
for example, three kids are playing basketball, then another kid joined them.
“other” is used among above two things that are related.
for example, one boy is dancing, two are singing, other boys just watching.
i’m sure it’s right for “the other”,
but I am not sure if other are right!
hope anybody can correct my answer!
