Format of letter: Format is a way or technique to write a letter. There are the following ways: 1. Full Block Format 2. Semi Block Format 3. Semi Block with Paragraph Indentation 1. Full Block Format: In this format date, inside address, salutation, paragraphs, and complementary close begin flush with the left margin. In other words no lines will have any indentation. The heading (name and address of the company sending the letter) may be centered or flush with the left margin.
