What does "i-word" means?

I need help!

Recently in article by Jeremy Clarkson I met such expression: "I'm thinking of the i-word".

I suspect that it is something absurdly simple, but I just can't get it!

So please, could anyone help?Smile

in Clarkson's case, the i-word is idiot. Clarkson called the British Prime Minister an idiot. You will read or hear things like this from time to time. F-word, b-word, things like this mean a bad word, we call them swear words, which can't be printed or said at the time. N-word is a big one now, but there are many of them.
