Hello~
I’d like to ask on question about at & in.

(1)On his way to NY, he stoped at Chicago
(2)On his way to NY, he stoped in Chicago

Is there any difference between the two sentences?
If there is, plz let me know what it is.

Thanks for your help!

Greetings,

I will only advise you that one of the uses of the preposition “in” is in relation to names of places (cities, states, countries, continents etc.)In these cases,”in” would be the appropriae prep., so your sentence using “at” is incorrect.

Hope this answers your question. If not, or you have another, please ask.

No. You would say “he stopped at the bus station in Chicago”.
