who knows what this quote means?

cclearnenglish

China

“today is just a good day in disguise”. I don’t get it. But I guess it means ” you have a tough day, but eventually it will be good, because something good is hidden under the bad fortune?

oh I thought It was an encouraging quote…... Thank you GOHOOS02, but why even this sentence exists? does it try to express some pessimism here? Why would a person thinks a normal day is actually a bad day?

Hi there! Cclearneng is correct. It is meant to be a motivational quote about staying positive. Similar to “every cloud has a silver lining.” The key indicator that it is meant to be positive is the word “just”, which attempts to mollify the reader about their situation.
