Americans are fat! Well, not all of us. Nearly 64% of U.S. adults are overweight, which is a hefty amount of the total population. What can we say? We are a nation of people on the go, and we have little time to worry about nutrition and exercise.
Let’s listen to Sarah and Dave talk about exercise.

Sarah |
Dave: Sarah, I just read 64% of Americans are overweight.
Sarah: Really? That’s huge. What do they consider overweight? Do you know?
Dave: I’m not sure. Just, I think it’s like 20% over your ideal body weight.
Sarah: Wow! That’s crazy! That doesn’t, like, show very well for Americans.
Dave: It doesn’t. But people don’t exercise very much.
Sarah: Yeah, I guess so. I don’t know. I exercise quite a bit.
Dave: Yeah? What do you do?
Sarah: I rock climb, which is really fun.
Dave: Wow.
Sarah: Yeah, and I hike…a lot…because, you know, we have great hiking around here. And parks and stuff like that. And, um, I go to the gym. And I do weights, and I do yoga. And…so I do lots of different stuff.
Dave: Wow, that’s great.
Dave: Good for you.
