Who is your favorite character in World's history?

Who do you admire from history, maybe some person from your country that contributed to get better the situation in your place of birth? Why do you admire him or her? What did she/him do?

Then he faced with ppor ppl.And bad economy in there countires.then tried to find the best way for them.. So became a guerilla.

He made start the Sosyalism-Revolutionism..

i think, the great person in the world is MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK. He changed all turkish people's distinct and he was very intelligent, very brave, very kind person. He fought all europe and he beat all of them. He was very Brave… if you read his biography, you will see the great person. Because he was amazing

MUSTAFA KEMAL who closed slamic courts, most of mosques and replaced Islamic canon law.

Notwithstanding the Islamic prohibition against the consumption of alcoholic beverages, he encouraged domestic production of alcohol and established a state-owned spirits industry. He was known to have an appreciation for the national beverage, rakı, and enjoyed it in vast quantities.
MUSTAFA KEMAL who disconnected Turky from its religion. who weakened the Islamic empire..but praise be to Allah turkish ppl return now to their religion despite of him…......

I felt the temptation to choose Napoleon, but he`s already too popular so my other choice would be Mikhail Gorbachev, a very important Russian political leader. I suppose his attempts to reform USSR are already well known, so no need to comment more upon this subject (here see perestroika). I also admire him for the courage he had changing the Russia`s communist party`s doctrine completely giving the chance to all (or almost) the rest of communist countries to follow their own way, broken the Brezhnev doctrine.
