It’s really interesting to me to see how this very modern, European type of philosophical position has traveled around the world! I wonder how long it has been in Pakistan, and to what extent it builds on pre-colonial thought. Sounds like a cool research paper!
Honest question: If no one can hate his or her land, and people everywhere are basically the same, as in, you can find good and bad people in every country, then can one hate another person’s land? I would say no, but then again, is there really a difference between hating a land and being completely opposed to the vast majority of its policies? I guess the difference is just an emotional one, but I feel like it has bigger effects than that.
