Hi! I'm happy to help.

"Thus" and "therefore" are transition words. They're most commonly used to connect ideas in written English. They both mean roughly the same thing as "so" or "as a result."

For example, you might write, "I want to improve my English. Therefore, I study every day." Or, "He exercises a lot and never eats junk food. Thus, he's  in good shape."

Finally, "Thus" and "Therefore" usually come at the beginning of a sentence and are followed by a comma.

Thanks for your question!

Thanks for your follow-up question!

Yes, it is fine to use a semi-colon instead of a period. Semi-colons can be used to join two complete sentences that are very closely related. That is true of the examples you gave, so you've used semi-colons perfectly!
