Hello,

      How are you doing?

     I encountered this sentence from the movie, "I'm screwed." What does it mean?

    Is this sentence correct? "At that time Mr.Green worked instead of my boss as the MC because my boss could not  make it." Can I use "instead" in this situation?

Hi! Yes, that is a good use of “instead.”
The expression “I’m screwed” basically means “I’m in a bad situation” or “I’m in trouble.” For example, if you have to be at a job interview in 10 minutes but you’re stuck in traffic and won’t be able to get there for an hour, you might say to yourself, “I’m screwed.”
This is a slang expression that is mostly used among friends.
