The question is: What will the U.S. do besidesjawbone?And jawbone it has. In bully pulpits in Geneva, Hong Kong, Beijing and many other venues, top officials from the State Department, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and other agencies have sounded the alarm.


What’s mean “And jawbone it has. In bully pulpits….”.

Hi! I’m not sure what “jawbone” means in this context. Usually your jawbone is a bone in your jaw. It may be slang for “outcry.” It sounds in this quote like the U.S. is complaining about something. I have never heard “bully pulpit” either, but it sounds like a place where people say things that they hope will bully, or intimidate, others.
