Could you explain or whay does the (do we do colors, do we do kind of ) mean ?


Why the word od used twice here ?


Yeah. It’s not like insanely coordinated, but there’s definitely some conversation about do we do colors, do we do kind of like just neutral tones…

Hi! “Do + subject + verb” is one way to form a question. For example, “Do you like chocolate?” “Do we have enough money to order a nice bottle of wine?”


The second “do” in Mason’s sentence is basically standing in for “choose.” This is fairly common. For instance, if someone asks you what you are going to order at a restaurant, you might say, “I think I’m gonna do the salmon.” This is a very casual, informal way of speaking, however.


So basically, Mason is saying that his family discusses whether they should all wear colors or neutral tones in their family portraits.
